How many filters does the Artesian Platinum Elite need?

How often should I replace the filter on my Artesian Platinum Elite?
Most Artesian owners get 12 to 24 months out of a cartridge, depending on how heavily the spa is used. A larger tub like this holds more water, so the cartridge works a little harder and tends to want cleaning more often. Rinse it monthly with a hose, hitting the pleats at about a 45-degree angle. Soak it overnight in filter cleaner every three to four months. Replace it when the pleats are torn, the seams are stained brown and won't come clean, or a soak no longer drops the post-rinse pressure.
