GE Refrigerator Water Filters

The 3 GE filter pages verified here cover 12 side-by-side, bottom-freezer and French door refrigerator families. MWF is the older twist-and-lock SmartWater shape, sold today as MWFP. XWFE replaced XWF with the same physical fit plus RFID leak detection, and RPWFE similarly replaces RPWF for the taller French door cartridge system. GE rates MWF for six months or 300 gallons and the two RFID filters for six months or 170 gallons.

Match the complete refrigerator model before ordering. XWFE fits refrigerators that originally used XWF, but an old XWF does not satisfy newer RFID-equipped refrigerators; RPWFE refrigerators likewise require the genuine chip for filter recognition and leak monitoring.
