Pentair Pool Filter Cartridges

Pentair's Clean & Clear and Predator series are some of the most common cartridge-style pool filters in residential service. Most use 100 or 150 sq ft cartridges (the PAP100, PAP150, R173214, R173216 numbers all turn up on owner's manuals). Larger Clean & Clear Plus models run four cartridges in parallel, so when one needs replacing, all four typically should be replaced at the same time, or the new cartridge will end up doing most of the filtration work.
